Also to throw a name out there, What about Andruw Jones over the past couple years, Jayson Stark had an interesting piece on him, And after reading it he's quite right.

Andruw Jones is underrated definitely. He's never been a great hitter for average, but he's got awesome power and is one of the best outfielders.... EVER.

Actually, he doesnt even go for the big catches anymore. I read in The Stark book that they figured out the catches he used to make 5 years ago to what he makes now. I forget what it was but it was something like he used to catch like 180 a year and now its something like 100 or something aroudn there. So that means he is letting a lot of balls just drop and he isnt going after them.. I dont know.. He is def a good player, but i would not say he is the best outfielder ever.

I don't care what kind of stats Stark wants to throw out there.. I see it with my own eyes. He just had a couple Web Gems this past week for example..

I didn't say he was THE best outfielder ever, I said he's one of the best, and I don't think that can be argued..

My favourite thing about Andruw Jones used to be his defensive prowess, which is still completely undeniable.

But now it's even more fun to watch him hopelessly strike out at the plate.
