Re: Baseball Domes

retractable domes are for sure the way of the future. I think every new stadium that has been built in the last 5 years has been retractable. Thats a lot of talk going around here in the bay area, they want a retractable dome, but the only problem is the cost.

on a side note, has anyone seen the new dallas cowboy stadium? I know im a homer and all but wow, go to dallascowboys.com and go take a look at that. It is going to be amazing.

Haha, I think you've got the Houston homer blinders on, friend -- of the nine parks built since 2000, only two have retractable roofs.

Re: Baseball Domes

Retractable roofs are defiantly the way to go. Living in Milwaukee, I know about cold games in the early part of the season. Having the roof when needed has help a lot these past years. I say if it can be done go with the retractable roof.
