Press reports are indicating that goalkeeper
Jens Lehmann is expected to extend his career at the Emirates in the next few days.
It would seem that the German international has turned down late offers from German clubs, in order to play on at the Emirates Stadium.
It's unclear whether Arsenal increased the one-year extension they offered Lehmann, but this is highly unlikely.
Other clubs put two-years on the table for Lehmann but the challenge of pursuing continued success in the Premiership seems to have secured Mad Jens' services for another year.
About dam time he let us know. Glad he's staying tho as i wouldent like to see Almunia as number 1. He's a solid keeper and a good backup, but not first choice. Also a shortage of good avabiable keepers makes this better news.
