Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has revealed the club have no plans to sack boss Jose Mourinho in the summer. Speculation over the Portuguese coach's future at Stamford Bridge - and his relationship with owner Roman Abramovich - has been rife all season.
But Kenyon has denied the club have been looking at potential replacements.
"Jose's got a contract until 2010 and we're not going to sack him. He's got the full support of the board, that's really important," he told Chelsea TV.
"We've been linked with something like 14 managers now I think, but we've not got a list and we're not looking."
Lol, sounds like the same stuff they were saying before canning Ranieri!!
Having said that, what a great piece of motivational man management from Roman. He's got the whole team believing that their beloved boss will be sacked if they don't win every trophy available to them....an unheard of quadruple. The players are playing at full steam for him, convinced they can save him, and they're team spirit is such that they've withdrawn and believe it's them against the world.
It's probably not intentional, but it's always a possibility this is the best man management from any club owner ever (ignore Kenyon's part in this, he's just a muppet).

They've offered Klinsmann a shit load to come and be coach but he turned them down, so has Guus Hiddink.
I just don't understand why they would want to sack Mourinho. Just because Chelsea have money doesn't mean there gonna win automatically, look at Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Man Utd, money doesn't mean success, you need a good coach in play as well. MOurinho is the best chance they have of success, who else would they get to replace him? Wenger maybe if this US takeover stuff continues?

How'd you know? lol
When they come out this stong i think its obvious they are at least considering it.
I think he see's this as the dreaded vote of confidence, so many times over the years a chairman/director of football as made a comment like this and the manager was sacked the week after
