I heard that NBC cut from the second or third period of a Conference Finals game between Anaheim and Detroit to the Preakness or some other horse race. Gee whiz.

It was Sens vs Sabres, But...yeah they did, thankfully being Canadian its easy as hell to find coverage here. Hopefully more people watched the finals last night, speaking of which Go Ducks! now I can finally trim this playoff beard/stubble

Yeah, I saw Anaheim hoist the cup last night. I was glad to see Neidermeyer win the MVP award, he certainly deserved it. And now Selanne has his name on the cup, which is good to see.

However, Pronger is a piece of garbage and I'm sad to see that his name will be etched on Lord Stanley.

I don't think Pronger really did anything to bad (unless I missed a hit in the last game) both times he got suspended for hitting the head he was kind of a victim of bad timing. Even more so when he hit the defense man from Ottawa (forget his name) he was just caught completely flat footed and off guard. So he tried to stop the guy and hit a guy who was 7 inches shorter then him in the head.

The other hit is alittle debatable but If scotty wasn't there giving Holstrom a sand which effect the suspension never would have happened.
