Sunderland went top of the Championship table after coming from behind to see off play-off hopefuls Southampton.
Marek Saganowski put Saints ahead with a volley on 67 minutes - his sixth goal in four matches. But Carlos Edwards equalised 10 minutes later with a sensational drive from 25 yards that clipped the underside of the crossbar on its way in. And as the game looked to be petering out to a draw, substitute Grant Leadbitter crashed home from 25 yards.

great play by Sunderland and there manager Roy Keane to get them from fighting for relegation to promotion to the premership , i think the might stay up next season because teams like Wigan , Fulham , Newcastle , Aston Villa , who might not go down this season will be fighting to stay up next season as well ,

I think Keane has done an incredible job there, but I put the team on a par with Watford.
Sorry Mikkles
Don't be.
We are a very good championship team and so were Watford its just neither can keep it going to stay in the premiership longer than a season.
However, i believe Keane should get them playing at least for a top 16 finish next season and then build more on that.

Re: Sunderland Go Top Of The Championship!
I don't know. Reading and Wigan (in their first season) bought in hardly anyone yet were succesful down to good management and momentum. Sunderland could have that this time under the current management (from the Chairman down). An awful lot will depend on the start they make, especially after what happened the last two times.
Behind Quinn are a number of very wealthy individuals, I like to think that now that they have seen some progress they will dig a little deeper next season and really kick that club on.
