Arsène Wenger has continued his policy of bringing in young talent from around the world, as Arsenal look to confirm the signing of French teenager Gilles Sunu.

The striker, who recently turned 16, is expected to move to North London to continue his footballing education under Wenger in the Summer.

Chateauroux president Michel Denisot will meet with Gunners vice-chairman David Dein in April to finalise the deal that could potentially rise to £2.7million.

Some will be angered that the club aren't being linked with bigger names, but this promising signing by the boss was supposedly also a target for other big clubs, with Liverpool one of the names rumoured to have shown a big interest.

We await confirmation as the latest prospect to be plucked out of French football by Wenger signs a 4-year deal with Arsenal.

I heard that its homegrown players not english. Its against european law to prohibite foreign players from making an earning anywhere they chose.
I heard homegrown also means players under 21 who have been trained by the club from the age of 16 or under.
