the only time i disliked Carter was when he didn't make the gradustaion game where he went to his grautaion instead of the eastern finals game. i had a talk with my teacher for the next few days about it and he set me straight and told me i was the one wrong not him for making sure he got through coledge. I've never hated Carter after that. He's one of my basketball idols. after the Raps gave Carter away, there was still Mo Pete, Rose, and Antionio davis. I didn't pick another team vs my cousin playing NBA live. i used to base my favorite teams off of the videogames never the real NBA game. i start watching a game and going into the second quarter i would start playing NBA2k3 or NBA live. i never sat and watched a playoff game with out wanting to play the videogame. sorry for the phails...when it comes to my basketball idols it's enter the werewolf(Dragon) up in here.

I've disliked Carter ever since I started being a raptors fan in lat 04 early 05. hes such a freaking failure in Toronto that its made me hate him no matter what....freaking eh. I'm not saying its wrong to be a Raptors fan and Carter fan but honestly you should atleast harbor some secret hate towards the man for pussing out as many times as he did in that one season alone.

But how bout those Raptors, best in there divsion looking like the playoffs, then they drop one to the........bucks? Hopefully when Bargnani gets back they don't play as bad cause honestly I dont know if ive seen so many lazy turn overs.

it doesn't matter to me if a guy pussied out. i'm a fan boy of Carter, Arenas, T-Mac, Allen Iverson. I'm not looking at the sports side of them, i'm looking at the human side. no matter what they do right or wrong, i'm staying a fan. i don't have any hate at all towards the guy. His cousin left for orlando, his father figure was gone because he got fired, before or after these his agent used money with out Carter even knowing about it. i don't think you can trust everyone as family. It was just a matter of time before he felt alone.

Could be, but I don't see how apparently him Jalen Rose, Mo Pete and few others were really tight on the team (Rafer Alston may be included in that). Sports wise I'll give Carter all the respect in the world for doing what he does. I'm just saying as a Die Hard Raptors fan its almost Impossible for someone like myself to set Carter apart from that guy who screwed over Toronto by putting out half assed efforts while guys like Bosh, Morris Petterson and Donyell Marshall where giving it all and carrying the team while he remained the center of attention and "captin" of the team. Who I may add made constant demands regarding his team mates and coaching staff.

All I can say is thank god he got traded when he did, so Carter can do what he does in the EQUALY COLD NEW JERSEY (get that "Canada's so cold" crap out of here Vince) and do what his fans like to see. How ever the upside of that trade for me comes 2 years later where the Raps are finally a .500 team and in the Playoff race with a consistant player who loves Toronto is now the face of the team.

It's the NBA playoffs just to let you know...not NHL.

And the New Jersey Nets are having a off-season. Happens to every team. I don't expect them to going anywhere close the playoffs but will be around the 8th spot because the Eastern Conference is horrible and most teams are in the race believe it or not. But the Nets are no where near being a playoff contender with Kidd in and out of the line-up and RJ struggling.

And if Carter is not on the Nets next year, I don't expect much from them really just because whether people like to realize it or not...he's a key player on that ball club and lifting them alot.
