Simple soloution. All teams involved in European football should automatically be eliminated from domestic cups if they draw with teams. Increases excitement, the opportunity for "lesser" teams to progress and removes Arsene's gripes about fixture congestion.

Arsene's suggestion simply moves the goalpost's to give his team the best chance to progress. He has the fittest team in England so he is more likley to win in Extra Time.

Why bend the rules to suit a team that has the best cup record in recent years. Why not bend them the way to suit the majority not the privilledged few?

So if a small club gets the draw against a team like Bolton at the reebok they dont get a replay and a big pay out for it, your saying forget the pay out altogether.

I'm not sure how you landed here.

Yep it's nice for a lower team to benefit from a replay gate but I'm thinking if they progressed (by my suggestion of a draw could equal a win) the shared gate from a next round tie would probably suit them better.

What I'm trying to solve is the big clubs wish to avoid unessecary fixtures whilst keeping lower clubs best chance of a windfall revenue.

I cant see how anyone (inc. of supporters of the "big 4") could think this is a bad idea.....
