| France vow to continue rotation France vow to continue rotation Saturday, 24 February Stade de France, Paris Kick-off: 2000 GMT Live on BBC Two, Five Live Sports Extra, BBC Radio Wales, Radio Cymru, Sport website France insist they will continue to chop and change their side in this season's Six Nations tournament. ![]() They have made five changes to their squad for Saturday's match against Wales, with Sale's injured Sebastien Chabal one of those dropping out. Manager Jo Maso said they would give every player in their squad of 40 the chance to impress before the World Cup. "We have used 24 players and without doubt there will be 29 who will have played after the Wales match," he said. Chabal, who played in France's opening victories over Italy and Ireland, limped out of Sale's loss to Wasps on Sunday with a leg injury and will be replaced by Clermont-Ferrand's Elvis Vermeulen. His Sharks club-mate Sebastien Bruno is also dropped in favour of Biarritz hooker Benoit August, while Nicolas Mas, Gregory Lamboley and Aurelien Rougerie have been drafted in. "We've fixed it as a rule to give a chance to each of our 40 squad members during the tournament and we will stick to our promise," added Maso. There will be several more changes before the match at Twickenham, that is for sure France manager Jo Maso "All the players not retained for this match, like all those who were not candidates because of various injuries or illnesses, will be in the frame for England, after 15 days of heavy training. "There will be several more changes before the match at Twickenham, that is for sure." Despite the promise to make changes, Maso said France would look to a spine of experienced players such as captain Raphael Ibanez and winger Christophe Dominici to provide leadership during the campaign. France coach Bernard Laporte will name his starting XV on Tuesday. "There is nothing to say Dominici will definitely start," Maso said. "But Christophe is like Raphael. These people are the leaders. They boost the spirits and that is very important when you are preparing for a match." While France have opened with two wins, Wales have suffered defeats to Ireland and Scotland.
