| MLB honours Robinson anniversary MLB honours Robinson anniversary Major League Baseball will mark the 60th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the colour barrier when San Diego play the LA Dodgers on April 15. A ceremony will take place on the field before the game. Robinson first played for the Brooklyn Dodgers - who later relocated to LA - on 15 April, 1947. MLB also released the entire schedule for 2007, most of which already had been announced by the various clubs. It opens with the NY Mets at World Series champions St Louis on April 1. | wow spelling was quite bad on that, either by you or BBC...honors, and next colors...unless it can be spelled that way and I don't know it then its kind of bad to publish on the site....but on the topic, I'm glad to see them doing this, it was a big part in history for not only the African-Americans, the MLB, but for the whole world of sports....
