The purpose of this thread is having a solid Raw discussion each week. We know have tried to put on a weekly discussion and it just didn't work, so I have another plan. What I see happening is making this the official discussion thread for each week of raw. Each week a preview will be posted so we know it's a new week. Sounds easy right? Yeah I hope so. The goal of this thread is just to prevent random threads about certain things that aren't going to be huge topics that involve Raw. For example - a discussion thread for Raw last week didn't do so well, then pretty much died out. We'll try to keep general chatter about RAW in here. If you make a topic, I probably won't say anything unless it's like "I liked RAW last night." This is all for organization.
Thank you, SIF Staff.
The following is from WWE.com:
Getting ready to rumble
With only one stop for the Raw Superstars before the Royal Rumble blasts into San Antonio, Raw will continue to raise the bar in sports-entertainment action this week when the show emanates from the Cajundome in Lafayette, La.
Still standing?
WWE Champion John Cena will defend his title against Umaga in a Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble. The Last Man Standing Match has no rules except to beat your opponent so severely that he is unable to answer to a 10 count. Armando Estrada still claims that CenaÂ’s win over the previously undefeated Umaga at New YearÂ’s Revolution was a fluke, and chose a match that would allow no fluke victories. After the contract was signed cementing the match, Cena laid out both Umaga and Estrada. Will Estrada and Umaga try to get the upper hand on the final Raw leading into the Royal Rumble?
Rumbling towards San Antonio
Five spots still remain in the Royal Rumble Match; will any Raw Superstars join the 25 Superstars already announced?
Find out all this and more on Raw, Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

Raw is going to be really good tonight. I'm jsut really happy I don't work. AS I haven't been able to tune in for like a month. So I'm really glad I won't have to miss it.
Six days before The Hardys face MNM at Royal Rumble, Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy will face Joey Mercury in a special non-title Raw vs. SmackDown challenge match. Who will gain momentum for their team heading into this Sunday?
That match does look awesome in a way, but nothing to get excited about. I don't see it lasting. I see a DQ somewhere on MNMs side. There will be no real action until the Royal Rumble, sadly.
With HHH out, what do you think will happen with D-X? HBK is opening up the show. But do you think he will stay solo and let it go or do you think he'll get another partner and keep it alive?
It's pretty hard to tell, im thinking maybe they will reunite when he returns and maybe HBK turns heel on HHH, saying he carried DX or something....i dont know, but that is sort of what they did way back when when Trips turned on Michaels, so i dont know if they would do that again, but i do not see DX continueing for long when HHH returns.

My take on it is - D-X is basically broken up. It won't last another 8 months or so and wait until HHH returns, so I see HBK making it well know it can't be performed much longer. But it's still in us all and all that drama. I wouldn't be surprised if he still went by the music and attire though, just not the whole nine yards.
