| I hope he drops the music, im getting sick of hearing it. Hopefully he will go back to his old music. On to a different topic....Cena I think he is holding on to it, past the Rumble, past WM for that matter, I dont see him dropping it to anyone. The only likely contender for Cena at mania is HBK and Orton, and HBK might need some time off soon, and Orton, well i dont think he is ready for a long run at the title. | ||||||||||||||

| I actually love the Music. It makes me more pumped up to see 'em come out. But now as I think about it carefully, without both of them, it'd be dumb. Now on the Cena topic - I see him dropping it this weekend. Why? I see WWE continuing the feud between him and Umaga. If he wins it will make Umaga look like nothing and it would be pointless to keep on going. Plus with HBK and Rated RKO still going at it, there is no one else for him to feud with. No other choice but to stick with Cena vs. Umaga for a little while. | ||||||||||||||

| Live from Lafayette, LA - The show starts with a graphic of Bam Bam Bigelow and says "In loving memory of Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow, 1961 - 2007." - Next up is a video package of the Orton/Edge vs. HBK angle from last week. DX's music hits and Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring. Shawn says that for years he's tried to put away feelings of being able to over come the odds but now they are back, the Heartbreak Kid is back. He says with his new found passion he believes he can once again become WWE Champion and at the Royal Rumble may God have mercy on the other 29 competitors. Edge cuts him off and says HBK's new passion will turn to disapointment when Edge is the one who wins the Rumble and becomes WWE Champ again at Mania. HBK calls him a gutless coward and challenges him to come to the ring - Edge does and HBK meets him on the ramp, they then fight in the crowd as officials try to seperate them. *Back from the break, HBK and Edge are still fighting backstage. (1) RAW vs. SmackDown Challenge - RAW's Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy vs. SmackDown's Joey Mercury. Mercury is accompanied by Nitro and Melina. The referee forces Nitro and Melina to leave after Nitro exposes the concrete at ringside. Hardy wins with the Twist of Fate. * Mr. McMahon is in his office and he decides that Edge will face HBK in a Street Fight tonight he then says he will make another announcement in the ring later. Mr. McMahon and Jonathan Coachman make their way to the ring. He says he would like to read his responce to Donald's letter. Vince says now that his issue with Rosie is ending her TV ratings are back in the toilet. He says the Apprentice could be doing a whole lot better and that he should have a special guest such as Mr. McMahon himself. He goes on to get himself over by talking about all his sucess he says everyone loves him and that he in return loves the fans. John Cena then makes his way to the ring. He asks if Vince thinks he's Brother Love all of a sudden? He says Vince doesn't listen to the fans - Cena asks the fans if they want Vince to shut his mouth? They all of course cheer. Cena goes on to say that Vince McMahon and obsession don't go well together, he then reminds us of when Vince had an obsession with killing DX and that ended up with him getting his head shoved up Big Show's butt. And when he had an obsession with starting his own football league! Coach tries to defend Vince but ends up saying that Trump has more money than McMahon. Eventually Vince gets upset and puts Cena in a match with Coach tonight! (2) Chris Masters vs. Super Crazy. It is 69 days till WrestleMania. Crazy wins when he pins Masters while he is in the Master Lock. * Backstage, Michaels is shown taping his hands. Maria interviews Kenny Dykstra he says he will become the youngest man to win the Rumble and the youngest man to headline WrestleMania. He declares 2007 is the year of Kenny Dykstra. Also, backstage Edge is getting ready when Randy Orton comes into the room, he has some good make-up work on his face to make him look battered. Edge says he couldn't of done anything because Shawn hit him in the ribs with the sledgehammer. Edge asks if Orton has his back tonight against HBK - Orton responds by saying lets just wait and see." (3) WWE Champion John Cena vs. Jonathan Coachman. Coach says Vince has left the building and although Coach can't change the match - he can make Cena compete in another match first. He says he's going to bring the spirit of the Rumble here by sending random superstars down to try and eliminate Cena. First down are Cade and Murdoch. Cena FU's Murdoch from the inside to the outside of the ring. Coach then sends the WG Tag Team and Viscera down to make it 4 on 1. Followed by The Great Khali, but Khali decides to eliminate Haas, Benjamin, Cade and Vis much to the fans approval. Khali then eliminates Cena to win the match. The King notes that Khali will be in the Rumble. He then attacks Cena some more before Coach quickly gets in the ring trying to get the easy win but he kicks out. Umaga then attacks Cean from behind and Estrada & Coach set up a table. Umaga puts Cena on the table and splahes him through it from the top turnbuckle. (4) Candice Michelle & Women's Champion Mickie James vs. Melina & Victoria. Candice hits a reverse elbow off the top rope on Victoria for the victory. (5) Carlito w/ Torrie vs. Kenny Dykstra. Kenny pinned Carlito with a handful of tights AGAIN. * backstage, Cryme Tyme sell Royal Rumble numbers to Super Crazy and Eugene (even though Eugene isn't in the Rumble) Shad then admits to JTG afterwards that the numbers aren't even real. * backstage, Michaels is making his way to the ring. (6) Street Fight - Edge vs. Shawn Michaels. As Michaels is about to hit Edge with a conchairto Orton appears behind him and RKO's him giving Edge the victory. After the match, Orton throws Edge over the top rope, Flair attacks Orton, Kenny attacks Flair and Carlito attacks Kenny. HBK then gives Sweet Chin Music to Kenny, Carlito and Orton (which sends him over the top). Shawn is then the last man standing in the middle of the ring as DX's music hits and the show goes off air. | Pretty decent Raw if you ask me, the beginning was electric and the ending was great, a few spots in the middle of the show could have been better, but still it wasn't horrible. Im hyped up for the Rumble and cannot wait. | ||||||||||||||

| Really good Raw, after a few bad ones. I currently love Super Crazy. He has the most redundant catchphrase ever, and it makes me giggle. Big ups to Super Crazy. Ron Simmon's weekly Damn was my favourite one ever. It's taken a turn towards the absurd, and that's GREAT. I saw that commercial for the Rumble, and it said that Lashley/Test is gonna happen there. They really should keep that kind of thing a secret. It not only made me not want to see the PPV, but also any wrestling, of any kind, ever again. But then that all changed. I fuckin' loved the HBK/Edge denim match. I'm just sad it didn't happen on a PPV. But still, great great great stuff. And it was Ss cool how Randall just appeared behind Shawn. That was some ninja shit. Jesus, I want to see HBK vs. John Cena at WM, it's be great. Ahhh, great show. Makes me happy. | ||||||||||||||

| http://www.wwe.com/content/media/tou.../29062/4057006 From WWE.com Road to WrestleMania Begins January 29, 2007 One night after history was made at the Royal Rumble, Raw sifts through the Superstar debris in Dallas’ American Airlines Center. The Heartbroke Kid In front of a hometown San Antonio crowd, The Showstopper fell one man short from doing what he promised on Raw last week—winning his third Royal Rumble Match. With Undertaker now headed to the main event of WrestleMania 23, what’s next for Shawn Michaels? He remains a target in many Superstars’ sights, including Rated-RKO’s Edge & Randy Orton, and one can never count out Mr. McMahon. Then again, one should never overlook HBK, either. Will Dallas become privy to a “Plan B” from the DX member? Cena stands tall Who’d have thunk it? Despite severe abdominal injuries at the hands of Umaga last week, plus being turned into a bloody mess at last night’s Royal Rumble, a crazed WWE Champion John Cena defied the odds and choked out the Samoan Bulldozer! By emerging as the Last Man Standing, The Champ has certainly converted even some of his harshest critics into loyal Chain-Gang Soldiers. But there are still plenty of others lying in wait to challenge Cena for his title…including his WrestleMania 23 opponent, whoever that is. Will tonight’s Raw reveal his identity? Fan appreciation day As Mr. McMahon announced last week, he’s planning a big surprise for WWE fans on Raw tonight. What exactly has the Chairman trumped up for them? Will the fans—or any of the Raw Superstars—truly value it? The Royal Rumble-ings have subsided. Now Raw jumpstarts the Road to WrestleMania tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network. | ||||||||||||||

| Im really interested to see if HBK will be going to face Cena at WM, I hope he does, that would be a great match, but also Edge vs. HBK and Cena vs. Orton would be some good matches. I wonder if they will hold some type of tournament. | ||||||||||||||

| Anyway, I expect the Raw Wrestlemania title toury to start tonight or next week. Cena will most likely be cutting promos and facing random people for the next few weeks until there is a set WWE Title match at Wrestlemania. I still dont understand WWE's logic regarding the finish to the rumble, but maybe they might have all this figured out. Its pretty much guaranteed we will see HBK, Edge and Orton cut a promo. Especially HBK. I dont know what to think about the mid-card right now. | ||||||||||||||

| I really thing HBK should be added to the rumored 3 way match between Cena/Orton/Edge....and hopefully Cena loses this time....I'm getting tired of them making him look so great and amazing... | ||||||||||||||
