Lincoln manager John Schofield felt his side only had themselves to blame after they were held 1-1 by Shrewsbury.
The draw saw the Imps drop to third place in League Two and Schofield said: "We're not satisfied with a point.
"We played our football in the wrong areas. It looked like we were coasting at half-time but in the second half we did not earn the right to play.
"We looked in control after a great start and appeared to have weathered the storm - but then we sat back."
