Stand-in captain Steven Pressley promised there is more to come from him as a Celtic player after savouring a 2-1 victory over former club Hearts.
Pressley returned to Tynecastle for the first time since leaving the club in acrimonious circumstances - and was captain with Neil Lennon suspended.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the occasion," he said. "I had a warm welcome from the Hearts fans - and the Celtic fans.
"But, fitness-wise, Celtic are still to see the best of Steven Pressley."
Pressley had missed several weeks of training after falling out with Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov and eventually being released by the Edinburgh club.
He came back to haunt his former employers and thought that Celtic's greater quality won the day after Hearts had taken the lead.
"I'm obviously delighted as Tynecastle is a difficult place to come," he said.
"We showed great character in coming from behind, which shows why this club is so successful.
"Our concern at half-time was getting caught on the counter-attack from our own set plays.
"In the second-half, we got that right, controlled the game for long spells and began to show our quality."
