Steven Bonar scored the winner as Raith Rovers made the most of Stirling Albion's inability to cope with stormy conditions at Forthbank Stadium.

Rovers' trialist striker, Ian Harty, fired wide and his side were denied a penalty claim when David O'Brien was challenged by Mark Campbell.

Stirling goalkeeper Myles Hogarth saved well to deny Paul McManus and a Chris Aitken 30-yarder struck the crossbar.

But substitute Bonar fired home following a goalmouth scramble.
