Between 1997 and 1999, nearly 28 million euros went illegally into the pockets of players, intermediaries and former coach Rolland Courbis who was given a three-and-a-half year prison sentence of which 18 months was suspended. The club's major shareholder at the time, Robert Louis-Dreyfus, was given a three-year suspended prison sentence and a 375,000-euro fine. ADVERTISEMENT Prosecutors also requested Friday that the 50-year-old Larios, a former top midfielder for St Etienne and Bastia who lives in Barcelona, be fined 200,000 euros and barred from being an agent for five years.
