50 million for kicking a ball around? While wrestlers are putting their bodies on the line everyday and most only get payed a 6 digit number, some of them get payed less than someone working as a manager at a bowling alley...poor Maria.

Do you have some sort of source to indicate David Beckham earns $50 Million dollars per year? You've probably misunderstood the transfer market as that is most likely his sell price rather than he wages.

Secondly Miles, wrestlers put their bodies on line out of free will. They do it because they want to do, not because they have to do it. Endangering yourself, being at the risk of permantant damage to their bodies is done out of choice, not out of force. The 'sport' of professional wrestling requires skill sure, but in different federations they require different skill. WWE care about charisma, mic skills > wrestling which is why John Cena is the top draw, he makes big money. Other federations like TNA and ROH care about the wrestling > Mic skills, but those wrestlers earn less money why? Because of the exposure of the sport, because of it's popularity. Sure, you may say that wrestling is popular, but it is not seen everywhere around the world unlike other sports, football being one of them. It doesn't have the popularity other sports have.

Football gains the exposure by being the World Game, the sport that every one of us is able to watch across the 200-and-something countries around the world. With the sport being as big as it is, the best of the best in the world of football are sure to be paid a lot, you wouldn't be complaining if you earned the money some of the footballers get.

It's funny how the resemblence is when it comes to Americans and Australians talking about football. How the too are so alike. Yet no one complains about Golf players earning millions for whacking a ball, they go straight to football.

I hope that made sense as I'm pretty tired.

Yeah i can under stand where your coming from, and i understand you getting upset with a thread like this, as that is the way i get with stuff like Taker bashing threads (I know there are just a few) and things of the such. It does amaze how Soccer or "football" games can draw some 300,000 fans a game, I was just never interested in a sport.

And sorry Giantsfan, i knew it was Paid somewhere inside me, but i guess i saw ZzyZx's mistake and i guess i just wasn't thinking.
