The St. Petersburg Times reports the Raiders are only asking a third-round pick in exchange for Randy Moss.
It sounds like the Bucs could use the second-rounder they got for Anthony McFarland if they wanted to close the deal without negotiation. Moss and Joey Galloway would bring a nice veteran duo and bump Ike Hilliard and Mike Clayton firmly down the bench. Tampa could then use its first-round pick on a quarterback if Brady Quinn falls or a defensive end.
I'd love to see him in TB, but I don't see it happening and I'm not getting my hope up, his last few seasons haven't been that great and IMO, I wouldn't give the second round pick for him, third is what they ask, third is what they shall get IMO...
Thoughts?

Styles you don't want it to happen. We've all seen Randy Moss is cancer to a football team, his attitude sucks and he just doesn't bring the right things to the football feild. I haven't seen the man do well sense he was in a Vikings uniform. So he'd only do bad the Bucs I think. Even though I don't see him being traded, bucs won't want to give up that much for him I believe.
I don't see him being trade either, but other than Jerry Porter he had no real supporting cast in Oakland, no he hasn't had great season and his attitude can be a bitch, that's why I say give him a third round or less pick, I'd rather have a Calvin Johnson right now, but I doubt they will go after another recieve with the Safety, Cornerbacks, and Defensive Line positions needed so badly..
If he could keep the attitude under control he could be worth it, but he's definitly not worth the second round pick...
As long as he has a good supporting cast, he will do better IMO, but he needs to be on a winning team, when he starts losing constantly that's when his attitude is a bitch...when he's winning he's pretty well off...

Well yeah you are right. He had nothing beside him then Porter and his quarterback did suck, so he had nothing really but still I do believe and true wideout can make things happen wether you have alot or don't His attitude and what he has done to Oakland his a joke and he should be ashamed of himself. I do think he'll be thrown out of Oakland so they don't have to listen to this crap any longer but in a trade who knows. A 3rd round draft pick and Johnson wouldn't be enough becuase Oakland sees he's much more and sense it's glued to there mind that he so called is they want go for anything less which is quite sad.
His attitude wouldn't last in Tampa, we've seen Johnson speak out and things like that and Gruden almost got in a fight with 'em. I can't imagine what would happen between him and Moss but I know it wouldn't be pretty.
He won't help the Bucs at all. If anything he'd be like a Owens player this year, do pretty well in the first half and just fall apart in the second half and become his normal self again.
He's worse, I believe or comes very close to Owens. I don't even put Chad Johnson in a catorgy as much anymore. He's grown up alot and know when he speaks his so called mind, he backs up each and every sunday unlike the other two clowns. Moss and Owens have so much talent but waste it becuase they are so stupid. It shows there teachers passed 'em becuase they were the big stars.
