| NHL suspends Orr and Brashear The National Hockey League suspended Rangers forward Colton Orr for a total of five games for a cross-checking blow to the head of Washington forward Alex Ovechkin during a game Sunday night against the capitols. The NHL also handed Washington enforcer Donald Brashear a one game suspension after punching Rangers defenseman Aaron Ward. This will make the second suspension of the season for Brashear. This was a pretty wild game and I am surprised there weren't many more suspensions. The Rangers won the game 4 -1 | |||||||||||||||
