Packers in the Playoffs?

can you believe that it is still legitimatly possible for the Packers to make it to the playoffs this year? If Carolina beats Atlanta, the Giants lose twice, and the Packers beat the Bears, we're in!

if the giants win one game and lose the other, it'll be close, it will go down to several tie-breaking levels that are too time-consuming to figure out. but the bottom line is, Packers still have a chance!

I really like our chances if the Redskins beat the Giants on Saturday. I know the guys(Packers) will be fired up if we have a legit shot going into Sunday's game. I know the Bears are 13-2, but they barely managed to beat the Lions and shouldn't play their starters for the full game.

Here's the Packers playoff scenario:

1) GB win + NYG win + GB clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over NYG, OR

2) GB win + NYG loss or tie + STL loss or tie, OR

3) GB win + NYG loss or tie + CAR win, OR

4) GB win + NYG loss or tie + ATL win, OR

5) GB tie + NYG loss + STL loss + ATL loss or tie + CAR loss or tie

Yes they have a good chance of coming in, but it's not like a win and in, NYG still have a chance of getting in by beating an average washington team, not a good team at all to get your hopes up of losing too, Don't get me wrong, Washington can do it, but with 5 teams competing for one spot, don't get your hopes set to high...

We're the #7 team in the Wild Card though, so it's not like we need Falcons and Panthers to all lose. But all this means nothing if Favre and company can't get the job done in Chi-Town.

Yes and the Giants lose, The Giants have to lose for the Packers to even think of getting in the playoffs, they may have the same record, but the Giants have a better record against common opponents over the Pack...

Well it's always good to see them improving. But I don't forsee it happening. It could, but I don't think it will.

Carolina can beat Atlanta, but did Steve Smith even show up for this game?

Good luck though. Would be nice to see you in the playoffs.

I realy don't think the packers will make it. They have a chance? Yes they do. They just shouldn't take it. They make it into the first round and somehow manage to win. Then they'll keep gettting lucky. Favre will get tot he Super Bowl, then lose. He wil get pissed, retire, then probably go kill himself. He's just sticking around to win one more SB, yet I don't think that'll be possible.

If Farve is sticking around to win a superbowl, he might as well retire, no super bowl trophy is coming to Green Bay in the next few years...

Not a huge Packer fan, not even a little Packer fan. I hope I don't have to see The Packers in a Superbowl ever actually. Farve needs to retire, all he is doing is ruining the legacy he has by staying. I liked Jerry Rice, but he finally got the hint to retire when the Bronco's put him in third or fourth string.
