CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers receiver Keyshawn Johnson was fined $5,000 by the NFL on Friday for throwing his helmet late in the fourth quarter of this week's loss at Philadelphia.
Johnson was upset that pass interference wasn't called on Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard, who was covering Johnson and intercepted Jake Delhomme's pass in the end zone with 25 seconds left to preserve the Eagles' 27-24 win.
Johnson yelled at the official, then took off his helmet and threw it to the ground. It rolled about 20 yards along the sideline.

It's understandable for players to get frustrated, but they really need to watch how far they go or like Keyshawn money will be coming out his paycheck...
Thoughts?

Not that important imo. People will do that no matter what. Keyshawn is an emotional guy, and this isn't the first time he has done that. Football players are genuinely more emotional than other sports players I have noticed.
Well referees are getting more stricter in many sports mainly basketball and football and this also makes up quite a fuss, one hand on the referee and thank you Mr. here is a $5000 dollar fine and a 15 yard penalty with that. The refs got to loosen up a bit IMO, Roger Goodall is a good canidate to take over, but the man has to fix a few things as he comes along...

A typical move by Keyshawn Johnson. He should have learned by now the NFL is very strict and doesn't tolerate such crap. Guess he thinks he is special or something, who knows, but he deserved his punishment.
I haven't seen Keyshawn pull this kind of crap for a while. But it looks someone did something very wrong to just flip out like he did. He's lucky the NFL doesn't suspend for throwing helmets ect. Hopefully he should learn from this mistake and keep his anger inside him.
