The two-time Pro Bowl player had a blood-alcohol level of 0.10, above Ohio's legal limit of 0.08, the State Highway Patrol said. O'Neal was alone in his car and arrested at the scene, Sgt. Kevin Long said. O'Neal took a breath test and was released.

He is to appear in Clermont County Municipal Court on Dec. 12. The seven-year veteran is the eighth Bengals player arrested this year. Rookie receiver Reggie McNeal was charged with resisting arrest this week outside a Houston nightclub.

Bengals spokesman Jack Brennan said Saturday he was unaware of this latest arrest. The team withholds comment on unresolved charges against players, he said.

The Bengals host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

This is absolutey crazy and amazing. Eighth player to be arrested on that team, that is pathetic. This must be killing the locker room atmosphere and making key players miss practic becuase they need to go to court. Hopefully somone in power will speak up soon and make a reasonible point and try to prevent this from happening again.

Wonder if anyone has thought of changing the name from the Cincinnati Bengals to the Crimnals or Convicts?

Unreal, this team needs to act upon these players and really needs to decide something on the contract stating that money will come off due to legal problems that may result in a voided contract. It's unreal 8 players in one year, it's not suppose to happen, definitely in Cincinnati, maybe New York or somewhere, but Cincinnati?

A woman called in to the Cincinatti police one night saying some drunken idiots were harassing her and wouldnt stop calling her and driving by here house. The lady at the police department responded," We are busy right now, but get the guys jersey number and we'll respond asap."
