Pitcher Jeff Francis has reached agreement on a four-year, $13.25 million contract with the Colorado Rockies.

Nice sign by the Rookies, Francis was a solid pitcher in that weak staff last season and should be season's to come. He is a rare pitcher sense he can survive a game in coors which is another thing to have. The rookies need more pitchers like this but I doubt it will happen becuase Coors Feild is nightmare.

meh he's a good pitcher, though his 4.19 ERA and overall record of 30-25 kind of scares me, I like him mainly cause I like left handed pitchers more, but he needs to develop just a bit more IMO, but he really need to get out of Colordo, it's not the place for him...

Nice move by the Rookies but horrible descion by Francis, Reason it's such a horrible move it becuase he doesn't deserve to pitch in a stadium like Coor's or be on crappy team like the Rockies, he is to good to be on a team like this. It's a solid move for the Rookies becuase he was key last season but I still see it in a bad choice.
