Defensive end Leonard Little has agreed in principle with the St. Louis Rams on a new three-year contract, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported, citing sources close to the team and player.
Little, a nine-year veteran out of Tennessee, was scheduled to become a free agent after the season.
Terms of the deal were not available, but Little is expected to sign the contract this week.
Little has nine sacks -- third best in the league -- and four forced fumbles for St. Louis this season.
| Smart move to lock him up, one of the best unknown defensive ends in professional football IMO, would have loved to see him play for Tampa Bay, but it's ok, wonder how much it will cost him though?
