I watched this... my first American Football game I watched from start to finish.. Watched the first half in a bar, then 2nd half at home. I was cheering for the Colts too.

Sloppy, but entertaining first half. Then, Grossman morphed into "bad Rex" in the second half, and the Bears didn't stand a chance. Those two interceptions Grossman threw were awful.
Still, I'd say it was an entertaining game all around, and I'm just glad I no longer have to hear about how the best quarterback of this generation "can't win the big one"

Re: Live Superbowl XLI thread (plus pre and post game discussion)
I didn't think Rex played that bad. The first pick which led to the TD return was pretty bad but he had every right to go for the long ball to Berrian just that the ball came out a little loose and the ball fell short, it was just one of those days for Sexy Rexy. If I had to point the finger at anyone, I'd point it at the Bears D, they couldn't stop the run for shit (ironic huh?) Rhodes and Addai killed them up the middle!!!!!!!!
Urlacher looked real pissed with Briggs and Hillenmeyer on some plays when they seemed to go for the big hit and miss or go for the ball and not the man.
I think Cedric Benson going down early threw them a little too because he is a big part of the running game and all of sudden he was gone pretty early.
I'm just really glad for Indy and Peyton as now he will get the credit he deserves as being the best QB in the NFL as well of this decade. I'm sorry boys but Brady no longer has the edge, he may have more rings but Manning has a ring now as well as all the records and MVP titles.
I also think that the Colts will make it to Glendale now next year but they are my early pick for next year. Maybe sign a new safety who can help out the run game (Archuleta is pretty pissed at the Skins maybe a trade for him would be good?) and re-sign Freeney and they have all the weapons for another run next year.
As for the Bears, I reckon if they can stay healthy, get good Rex to turn up more often and sign some more offensive threats in the off season or draft I reckon they'll take some beating next year too. Wonder what the odds for a repeat Bears vs Colts Superbowl would be because I can see it happening.
