Ashton broke his ankle during an England training session last year and has not played since. His return to full fitness will be a massive boost to West Ham, who are languishing two places off the bottom of the Premiership.
This is a HUGE boost for West Ham. Undoubtedly they've missed him for the first half of the season. He was their most valuable player towards the end of last season banging in the goals left right and centre. Hopefully he can regain that sort of form and help West Ham in their battle against relegation. They sure need him.
