The Playoffs

So who do we think is gonna go all the way now we know whose in the playoffs and who is out?

Can Tony Romo stop the Cowboys from crumbling against Seattle?

Can Mangini and the Jets beat the Patriots again? They've had two close ones already?

Can the Giants do anything right? (By the way Tim Carter is a bitch and needs his ass kicking for that dive against Washington. Went down like he'd been shot on that pass interference call.)

Can Indy win a playoff game with LJ gashing that run defense?

Can Chicago do anything if Grossman has the aim and pocket presence of a blind man?

Whose going all the way to Miami

My picks are Baltimore and New Orleans.

My new slogan for the Giants is "Good things happen when you don't throw to Tim Carter." I dont think I've ever despised a member of the Giants more than I hate Carter. And I had to suffer through the Ron Dayne era

I'm not too impressed with the Wild Card round. First of all, I can't see the Chiefs D doing anything right against the Colts on that turf. Larry Johnson will probably end up with 200 yards rushing but the Colts will score everytime they touch the ball.

Then you have Pats/Jets and Giants/Eagles which I'm tired of seeing. Living in the northeast I've seen all four games played between these 4 teams and I really don't need to see anymore.

The most intriguing game to me is Seattle/Dallas. I really don't know how that'll play out. Dallas has the talent to make a good run but they've been so inconsistent while the Seahawks never really got going this ear with all the injuries, but were in the Super Bowl last year and do have a tremendous homefield advantage.

The 2nd round should be money though.

I think Tim Carter is a worry, I think he's a real bitch for faking a hit on a pass interference call.

Eli I think is the one who is gonna lead you to a good run or break you against Phili. If the Eagles blitz like they did two weeks ago and Eli gets his happy dancing shoes on ever time he sees the Axeman coming his way, the Eagles Secondary are gonna have some fun.

I also hope plaxico Burress gets his ass handed to him by the Eagles, I really hope some gives him the Lawrence Taylor treatment.

If they want to win, they have to give the ball to Tiki 30 times and hope he runs wild.

They can't put the game in Eli's hands. That's not the team's strength, and it plays into the Eagles defensive strength. The Giants have to play to their strengths (the running game), and if the Eagles stop Tiki, so be it.

New Orleans and San Diego are my pics for the Super Bowl this year.

I am anxious to see the Dallas/Seattle game next week though.

Hopefully the Hawks will be able to compete with all these injuries.

This is going to be an exciting week of playoff football. I like all the games.

Chiefs vs. Colts should be good. Colts cant stop the run, chiefs cant stop the pass. Gonna light up the score board.

The giants/eagles/ and the jets/pats games i dont need to go into any detail cause we seen these teams go at it, so we know it will be a battle.

Dallas vs. Seattle. Should be good. Seattle is hurrting with there safteys. I think dallas can get some points on that. Dallas on the other hand has been hurrting for the past three weeks. They have been giving up way to many points and i think seattle wil be able to score on them if they don't fix that problem. This game could go either way, Seattle has the edge though cause it's at home. Should be a really good game.

I agree with Joe's Super bowl assessment.

The Saints are the most well-rounded team in the NFC. The Bears and Giants have their QB issues, the Seahawks have injury problems, and the Cowboys are looking shaky. I'm just not 100% sold on the eagles, and I really cant give you a reason why. If I had to rank them in order of their chances of winning the conference, I would go:

1. New Orleans
2. Seattle (they still have a ton of talent, despite the recent ineffective play)
3. Chicago
4. Philly
5. Dallas
6. New York

As for the AFC, the Chargers are looking very strong. They have the best player in the NFL (ever?) and a stout defense. Rivers has been shaky lately, but they can keep giving it to Tomlinson and allowing him to make magic. The Ravens are looking good too. The Jets are a nice little story, but I think they'll have trouble beating the Patriots, then the Chargers, then either the Colts or Ravens. The Colts cant stop the run, and they'll face plenty of teams that will be able to run on them. also, their offense is not as potent as it once was. And the Patriots have let too much talent go in recent years for my liking. And I think the Chiefs just aren't well-rounded enough. I'd say mos tlikely to make the Super Bowl goes like this:

1. San Diego
2. Baltimore
3. New England
4. Indianapolis
5. Kansas City
6. New York

i agree with all of that tom dogg, but i would def put philly over chicago. Chicago is just playing horrible (kinda like the cowboys) but rex is awful, and why would the coach make a qb switch now? He shoul dof did that 5 weeks ago. So im just not sold that chicago can get it done. There D is hurt so they are not that scary anymore. If dallas wins sat, i think they go to chicago, and im more scared of seattle then chicago at this moment.

I think it will go like this:

1st round:

Eagles over Giants
Seahawks over Cowboys
Patriots over Jets
Colts over Chiefs

2nd round:

Seahawks over Bears
Saints over Eagles
Chargers over Patriots
Colts over Ravens

Conference Championships:

Saints over Seahawks
Chargers over Seahawks

Super Bowl:

Saints over Chargers
