Snooker: O'Sullivan Walks Out On Quater-Final

Ronnie O'Sullivan stunned the snooker world yet again on Thursday when he conceded his Maplin UK Championship quarter-final to Stephen Hendry. The former world champion was trailing 4-1 when he dramatically handed victory to his opponent after missing a red.
Hendry was visibly stunned as O'Sullivan shook his hand and walked out of the Barbican Centre arena.
"He just said he had had enough," said Hendry, who was awarded a 9-1 win. "I had no inkling anything was wrong."





I saw this live and was stunned as he was acting normally and there wasn't even a hint of him being unhappy.


The questions are now flying around as to if this could be O'Sullivan quitting the game altogether or just this tournament, its very puzzling.

Question: is this considered a sport over there? From what i've read, snooker is basically just billiards with more balls in play, and billiards is only conidered a sport by some people (not me).

Red balls, coloured balls. Sink a red then a coloured. Coloured ball get placed back on the table after one is sunk, until all red are gone.Then you shoot til all the coloured balls are gone, and doing so in a certian order. That is what I remember from watching it and playing it anyway. Might be a bit more too it but
