Ashes Legends 20/20 Match

This Tuesday at the WACA as part fo the Ashes festivities here, there's going to be an Australia vs England Legends 20/20 match. The teams are as follows:

Australian Legends
Greg Matthews, Terry Alderman, Geoff Marsh, Graeme Wood, Bruce Reid, Rodney Hogg, Kim Hughes, Merv Hughes, Ian Healy, Dean Jones and Ryan Campbell.

Manager: Dennis Lillee

England Legends
Adam Hollioake, Gladstone Small, Mike Gatting, Angus Fraser, John Emburey, Alec Stewart, Robin Smith, Devon Malcolm, Graham Thorpe, Phil DeFreitas and Chris Smith.

Manager: Ian Botham

And just heard on the radio today, that Dennis Lillee is going to ball the first over and Ian Bothan is going to face it. Should be a great game and hopefully i'll get to meet some of the legends, Beefy, Jones and Heals in particular.

Good to see that, in keeping with the ongoing norm, six of the legends aren't actually really English!!

For those playing at home. England Legends won the match with Thorpe and Robin Smith top scoring with approximately 50 or 60 each.

The Limeys needed 19 off 12 balls to win the match after great overs from ALderman and Matthews....so then Ian healy decides to bowl and bleeds 23 runs off 5 balls giving the win to the motherland

It was a great night regardless, the highlight being Ryan Cambells quick fire 68 of about 30 balls, including three consecutive sixes that just sailed long ways into the crowd.

Ashes tommorow! Yes!
