| Mlb N&n Gary Matthews, Jr has signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It was reported as a 5-year $50 million deal. Which means it must be a wide market for average center-fielders. The Colorado Rockies and Lefty Jeff Francis agreed on a new deal. A four-year 13.25 million dollar deal, is the report. Former Diamondbacks owner Jerry Colangelo, has said that if the Tribune Co would put GD's beloved Cubs up for sale, He'd be interested in buying them. It does not look as though the Rangers will re-sign LF Carlos Lee. After they reportedly signed LF Frank Catalonotto. | |||||||||||||||

| Gary Matthews.....10 million a year... Honestly. How do they justify that? I would give him 5 a year for 2 years maybe. Look at his career. He is so average its not even funny.
