Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will miss the rest of the season with a broken ankle. Rodgers injured the ankle while he was in for QB Brett Favre. Brett hopes to be ready for next Monday Night's bout with the former NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks. Who hope to have QB Matt Hasselbeck and HB Shaun Alexander at 100% for the game. If Favre doesn't start Fifth-Round Rookie Ingle Martin of Furman will get the start.

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Off-season pick up QB Jeff Garcia will be the Eagles starter. Garcia played last year with the Detroit Lions.

The Cardinals have lost DE Bertrand Berry for the rest of year with a Torn Triceps. He tore the muscles in Sunday's game vs. Detroit.

HB LaMont Jordan will miss the rest of the season. Jordan, who plays HB for the Oakland Raiders, tore his MCL in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. The Raiders also lost LT Robert Gallery in Sunday's loss

Lamont Jordan has been a complete and utter bust in Oakland. People questioned the Jets letting him go but for that price they did the right thing. Also, it has to suck to be Aaron Rodgers. Favre finally goes out and it looks like you might get some playing time then you go out and get hurt.

Anyone else think it might be time for the Eagles to look in another direction at QB? I know McNabb is still one of the best, but this is the 3rd year now where he'll miss a good portion of the season.

I think you'd find a lot of people in Philly saying the same thing right now.

Anyone else remember that QB heavy 1999 draft? it went something like this I believe:

1. Cleveland Browns-Tim Couch,QB,Kentucky --Out of the League
2. Philadelphia Eagles- Donovan McNabb,QB,Syracuse --Current QB, Booed on draft day
3. Cincinnati Bengals- Akili Smith,QB,Oregon --Out of the League
11. Minnesota Vikings- Daunte Culpepper,QB,UCF --Current QB of Miami Dolphins
12. Chicago Bears - Cade McNown,QB, UCLA -- Out of League
50. Tampa Bay Bucs- Shaun King,QB,Tulane --Third String QB behind Jim Sorgi and Peyton Manning

hmmm... I think Donovan is doing rather well in comparison

Yeah, I remember it lol. Sure McNabb is doing great in comparison, but I still think the Eagles should start looking around. Maybe draft a guy in the 3rd or 4th round

Draft John Stocco in the 6th Round XD that is such a homer call, but yeah they need someone who's young to back him up and eventually replace him more than likely

I could see the Eagles going QB in like the 2nd or 3rd, kind of a Charlie Frye- or Kellen Clemens-type pick.

I don't think McNabb's days as Eagles starting quarterback are over, but he's obviously got health problems, and they need to start grooming a guy to one day take over.

There's no "likeness," just the fact that he was a 2nd/3rd-round quarterback.

I was always pretty unimpressed by him, too.
