What I take from this.. is that if USC wins out, they'll get in over Michigan, but the pollsters won't allow Notre Dame to jump over Michigan because of the gam earlier in the year, which would be the right way to go.
Michigan has only lost one game all year and that was to #1 Ohio state. I don't know a whole lot about how they do these rankings but to me it would make sense to have Ohio State vs. Michigan in the National Championship if Michigan wins out.

Well, in that case they should play for the National Championship.

I disagree. I only think they should play if there is no one-loss SEC team and USC loses..
They had their chance against Ohio State and they lost. It'd be unfair to make OSU beat them again.
Yeah but Michigan only lost one game all year and that was to the #1 team.
They only lost by three points too.

Yeah, but it's the same team.. How can they be given two chances to win one game?
How can some other team who lost to a worse team get a chance at a National Championship.
It just doesn't seem fair to me.
