Maybe they will atleast do the Big East and the BCS a favor and knock off Rutgers next week so we can at least see Louisville at least make a game out of a BCS bowl.

They should. Despite what occured against South Florida, I still don't see Rutgers going to Morgantown and defeating WVU.

As far as the big game today goes, I'm not shocked in the leaset. USC blew the Irish's doors off. I knew they wouldn't be able to handle Jarrett and Smith, etc..

So what we have now is the UCLA/USC game next week. If USC wins, which they should, they've owned UCLA in recent years, they'll be heading to Glendale to take on Ohio State in what I expect to be a great high powered offense type of game.

In the event USC gets upset, then it'll be Michigan in a rematch.

I don't think the SEC Championship game is a factor either way, because even if Florida beats Arkansas, they just haven't been all that impressive all year in their wins, case in pont, the afternoon game against FSU where they skated by in a 7 point win.

I kind of forget the extent of Michael Bush's injury -- would he be able to make it back for a January bowl game?

From what I remember, it was a pretty bad one, so I assume not.
