How will Reggie Bush do in the NFL?

Like most people, I was completely enamored with Reggie Bush at USC. From a pure football enjoyment standpoint, he's probably the most exciting college football player I've ever seen.

Recently, I've heard a few interviews with the guy, and I've come away even more impressed by his character. I don't get the impression that he was the brightest player in this year's draft class (he's also an underclassman), but just hearing his impressions of New Orleans when he first arrived there, and seeing the huge contributions he's already made to that city (without even signing his NFL contract yet) -- like I said, I've just been really impressed. He could have easily groaned about going to such a mess of a city and demanded a trade, but it seems like he's really taken on the challenge of lifting that city's spirits in whatever way he can.

Anyway, this all really makes me hope he succeeds in the NFL, and fulfill the perhaps-unreasonable expectations already being placed on his career.

I think that, at worst, he'll be a Brian Westbrook -- while, at best, he could be a faster, more athletic Marshall Faulk.

I also think he'll play very well in the NFL. So hard to predict exactly what he'll be like, but I'd say he'll be closer to Faulk then Westbrook. I've just been so impressed with him not to give him that much credit. Will he win super bowls and break records? Well, I dunno.. that really all depends.. I mean, I believe Faulk was just as good in Indy as he was on the Rams but wasn;t in the right offense for him.

I still can't believe the Texans went a different route. I understand why they did it, but to me.. this was almost like passing up Jordan.

I think he will be great. I think he won't get going untill around the middle end of the season though. Then after that he will just be on fire.
