| Predict the MLB division winners Now that we're into the second half of the season, we have a good idea of which teams will be competing as the pennant races wind down. Is Detroit for real? Is there any chance for red-hot Minnesota to pass the Tigers or White Sox? Will only one of Boston or New York make the playoffs, and if so, who? Are the Blue Jays a legit contender in that division? Are the Mets bound to break the Braves' incredible division-titles run? With Pujols back, will the Cardinals run away with the Central? Did Houston just get back into it or what? What the fuck will happen in the AL and NL Wests? | |||||||||||||||

| My Predictions.. AL East 1. Boston - 95 wins 2. New York - 94 wins 3. Toronto - 89 wins Blitz: Yeah, I think Boston and New York are both going to struggle to get to this many wins, but they'll make it somehow.. just because they're New York and Boston and they'll destroy the teams they have to towards the end.. Am I leaving the Yankees out of the playoffs? Well, just wait.. AL Central 1. Chicago - 98 wins 2. Detroit - 95 wins 3. Minnesota - 89 wins Blitz: Yes, that's right.. the Yankees will be left out in maybe the most incredible race towards the end of the season ever. Detroit is just too far up at this point to not win this many games, but the Yanks will make it interesting. AL West 1. Los Angeles - 88 wins 2. Oakland - 88 wins 3. Texas - 84 wins 4. Seattle - 81 wins Blitz: LA has the best team, the most experience and have finally found a groove. I think Vlad and Co. will make it in a one game playoff over Oakland.. This will be interesting and once LA is actually in the playoffs watch out.. they won't be an easy out.. NL next.. | |||||||||||||||

| NL East 1. New York - 97 wins 2. Atlanta - 90 wins Blitz: Yeah, sorry to say but the Braves are going down.. I've seen enough to know that they aren't going to catch the Mets at this point.. but I do think they'll get on the winning track.. Mets are a serious contender. NL Central St. Louis - 94 wins Houston - 92 wins Cincinnati - 87 wins Blitz: I think this will turn into a two team race.. St. Louis and King Albert will hold on but the Astros will once again grab the Wild card and then.. WATCH OUT! NL West 1. Los Angeles - 90 wins 2. Giants - 87 wins Blitz: Yeah, I think this will also turn into a 2 team race.. the two teams with the most experience.. Now, Bonds might not end up playing the rest of the season will all the shit going on, but I still think the Giants will play ok.. LA though will be too much. Nomar has had an incredible season so far, I think he'll play even better this half.. | |||||||||||||||
