just wanted to know how everyone feels about mr bryant. imo he is the john cena of the nba. u love him or hate him. i don't like him because he is a egomaniac, jordan wannabe and a crybaby. If he was as great as so many say he would have won at least one game when they were up 3-1. Just a though, wanna hear from the kobe lovers as well
quote from espn.com writer Bill Simmons. I totally agree with everything he said..

Which reminds me, if Kobe doesn't completely eviscerate Bell in Game 7, everyone on the planet is banned from making any more Kobe-MJ comparisons. We all know that MJ would have dropped 55 on Bell, shut down Nash on the other end and disemboweled D'Antoni for good measure. Kobe, if you're going to steal MJ's fist clench/shake from Game 1 of the 1998 Finals without asking, you need to take this all the way. You cannot lose Game 7. You can't. Even if you're playing 4-on-5 and Jax keeps refusing to play Vujacic.
Kobe Bryant is an immensely talented individual who is too egotistical to realize that basketball is a team game, and part of being a great player is setting up your teammates, and having a good rapport with your teammates

Don't like him, never have. I also don't like LeBron either, but that's another discussion.
It's already been said here, but part of Kobe's problem is his ego. He thinks he's so great that he doesn't need to be a team player and doesn't help his teammates unless he feels like doing so.

best basketball player in the NBA in my opinion, Suns were just a better team. Besides Lamar Odom who's a good player and Luke Walton(who's really better suited to come of the bench) the Lakers have a whole team of guys who really shouldn't be seeing any signficant playing time at this level. In two years when all of their bad contracts finally expire, Kobe and the Lakers will once again be a force to be reckoned with. And I loved how everyone who is quick to say Kobe isn't MJ seem to forget that Jordan had a future hall of famer in Scottie Pippen to help carry the load. A player, in my opinion, the Bulls would have won zero championships without. I like Odom but Scotty Pippen he aint. My two cents anyway.
I can't lie and say Kobe isn't a great player because he is...maybe even the best in the game today. But, he's also very moody and hard for both teammates and coaches to get along with. You never know if the Kobe that shows up is going to be the guy who shoots 50 times a night or 15.
LeBron James is already better than Kobe, in my opinion.
They have comparable numbers, and LeBron actually makes his teammates better.
Plus, at 21, he's more mature than Kobe will EVER be. LeBron wouldn't pull that bullshit that Kobe did in Game 7, taking 3 shots in the second half.
That wasnt the first time Kobe's done it either. Sometimes he wants to prove the team cant win without him, and he becomes ultra passive
