If the Ducks can go into Calgary and win, each one of the top 4 seeds in the West will have been knocked out in the first round. Has that ever happened before? Maybe it happened a few years ago actually, when the Ducks made it through all the way... I remember something like that. But I don't think it was all four.
Anyway, I think it's pretty cool. Edmonton really took it to Detroit, and San Jose and Colorado obviously both dominated their series. It's all up to Anaheim -- and even if they lose, at least we get to see the battle of Alberta, finally.

Well at least they made the playoffs...... just wish they didn't start playing like the Canucks once the playoffs started  And you shouldn't be happy even if you hate the Flames. A BOA would have been great while now the playoffs are pretty boring. Sharks will easily be winning the Western conference with Edmonton and Colorado both not having a goalie that will be able to get them to the cup and Anaheim didn't play well at all. They struggled against a team that was playing like complete crap. :lick:

I saw the "BOA" enough times this season to really get that excited about it.
And I honestly just would rather have seen the Ducks win. Not only would I be really happy to see a guy like Teemu Selanne hoist a Stanley Cup, because Brian Burke/Randy Carlyle won one playoff series in their first two seasons with the Ducks, the Canucks get their 2nd-round pick as compensation.
A playoff BOA would be nowhere near the same as the regular season. And Ducks will not get anywhere near the cup. Thankfully. That is all the NHL needs is another non-hockey city winning it To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
