If you count 4-5 rows deep at Coors Field way out there, then yeah, it was a bomb. Left field at Coors (I know I go to many Rockies games) isn't very deep, plus when you factor in the ball travels further due to the altitude, I definitely wouldn't say that was a bomb.

The one off Wagner went out in left-center so it was deeper than the shot he hit here in CO but it still only went 4-5 rows deep.

I don't disagree with you that people jumped over Bonds' case too quickly about losing his power...but all I'm saying is that he still hasn't hit one of those tape-measure HR's that we've seen from him the past 6 years.

I understand but check this...2-4 with 4 RBIs in tonight's contest thus far.. Average is up to .273 as we speak. .543 OBP leads the Majors.. He's coming on strong. I'd say he still has value!

Absolutely he has value. I know he loves S.F. but he hinted on his show last week that he is thinking more about moving to the AL, which with his knees not improving, would be a great move as he could be a DH. He could play another 3-4 years as a DH in the AL whereas if he stays with the Giants, this could be his last year.

I didn't really want to even bring this thread up again but I thought I would note that Bonds hit a home run yesterday to dead center and was it estimated at 450 ft.

That's a shot like the old Bonds.
