I always get fired up for the start of baseball season. Opening Day is one of my favorite days of the year and I plan on going to the Rockies game, weather permitting.

I think my team, the Mets, have a good chance to get to the playoffs this year. The key will be keeping their pitchers healthy.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice that the Jays could field a competitive team this year... I'm just not thrilled about months of watching baseball highlights on Sportscentre every day. What I love about football is that every game is so important, and I can really get into it -- whereas a winning and losing in baseball isn't nearly as crucial until the playoffs.
