Yeah, the Vikings seem about ready to pull the trigger on Culpepper. Apparently they're giving Oakland one last chance to raise the stakes though.
Looks like Ramsey's gonna go for a 5th in 2006 and a conditional pick in 2007.
The Packers had supposedly wrapped up FS Marquand Manuel for 5 years/10 mill (GREAT deal for a good player), but it hasn't happened as quickly as I'd like.
Maybe Culpepper's been redirected to Oakland? Or maybe they think they can sign Brees. Which other starting QBs are on the market?
I can't see them starting Tuiasasopo next year, and they'd need to move up for either Young or Leinart. Cutler could be an option. But you'd think they must be looking at a FA to start.
Everything I am hearing has Bress going to Miami. I would take Brees ten times a week over Culfumble.
David Givens met with Miami today and Houston tomorrow.
Me still think Givens goes to Cleveland. They have over 30 million dollars in cap room and the New England connection is there with Crennell.
I am hearing Vinateri is being courted hard by Dallas and Tampa Bay. PLEASE GOD, dont let him leave New England.
Best.Kicker.Ever.
And yes I will say that if he leaves too.

But New Orleans absolutely sucks. haha. I would much rather go to a Nick Saban led team.
Come to think of it, I have no idea who their new head coach is in New Orleans.
Hmmmm

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club has agreed to a 4-year contract with running back Edgerrin James. In accordance to team policy terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As an 8-year NFL veteran James has rushed for over 1,000 yards in six of his eight years in the league. In each of his past two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts James has rushed for over 1,500 yards.
As a 2-year starter at the University of Miami, James was the only player in school history to record consecutive seasons of over 1,000 rushing yards. The Immokalee, Florida native went on to be the fourth overall draft pick in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Colts.
James signing marks the third free agent deal the Cardinals have completed this offseason.
