I watched a little bit of the Pool A games(featuring South Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan) when they were airing late at night a few days ago. They were pretty good.
I also like the idea of the World Baseball Classic and hope that it grows bigger and becomes more importent so more people will want to play in it(the way soccer players WANT to play in the World Cup).

I watched the Dominican Republic-Venezuela game and it was awesome. I was in the DR in January and baseball is so huge down there. I was watching some of the Dominican League games on tv. Miguel Tejada and Hanley Ramirez plays down there and they go crazy over there. There were fans jumping on the field waving the flags around. I really like the WBC and I do hope it grows like the World Cup.

I haven't watched too much of this but I'm watching Canada vs. South Africa right now (must be a replay).. Canada had a 3 run lead then blew it, and then had a 2 run lead and blew that, but now they are up 11-8 in the 9th.. looks like they'll hold on to win. I don't think South Africa has anyone in the MLB.
It should come down to USA and the Dominican Republic. For you Aussie fans, they lost to Italy today.. We're still in group play.
