I hope that Detroit doesn't change their uniform too much. I like it the way it is. Then again, the Detroit merch that I do have will become classic stuff.

I agree with you, but to be fair, those are the only uniforms the Titans franchise has ever worn. And along with the Broncos, they were one of the teams to really create this new uniform style trend.

As for the NHL, I find it hard to believe the Red Wings will ever make any significant changes to their uniform, let alone a new logo. Someone's gotta remember the debacle that was those early-90s sweaters.

The Celtics jersey isn't as bad as it could be. Its Black with Green lettering but the lettering says Boston, the same fashion it was written back in the days of Bill Russell. I have yet to see the Bruins new logo/jersey, I need to look this up.

Those jerseys were worn for a select amount of games in 1991-92 against the other five Original Six clubs. The NHL was celebrating it's 75th anniversary that season, and the sweater (which I agree was quite ugly) was worn by Detroit back in their pre-Red Wings days, (Cougars, Falcons of 1926-1934).

The stripes ones... are you sure? All I know is all Red Wings hockey cards from that short time featured that awful sweater.

A friend told me the other day that what these new "logos" actually are -- Reebok is revealing some new future-age hockey gear, complete with skin-tight uniforms, kidney pads, tucked-in jerseys... but they haven't shown them to the public yet. Only a select number of teams have agreed to wear them.

I hope Boston and Detriot don't mess with their logos too much either. Detriot really can't do much other than create some other style of red wing. I'm hoping Boston doesen't do anything with the bear. Those third jerseys are horrible.
