Well, the NFL playoffs just got a lot less exciting...

I was so hoping for a New England/Indy playoff game, or even a Denver/Indy rematch, but both teams tanked it. Unless something miraculous happens this afternoon, I have basically no interest vested in the NFC playoffs either.

I'm gonna have to try to find a team to cheer for now. I guess the Steelers are kind of a nice story.

I think it'll actually be decently interesting. Pittsburgh has a somewhat exciting offense and a very agressive defense. Depending on how banged up Alexander is (though I don't think the concussion will come into play too much) Seattle could put on a show too.

I'm actually looking forward to the Broncos/Steelers game.

I will agree that the playoffs overall have been kinda dull this year.

The Indy/Pittsburg game this afternoon was the most interesting battle so far.

Yup.. I like their toughness. The Colts showed once again why they are a bunch of pussies. No disrespect of course. Hell, I was even buying into them possible going undefeated. Shit.. I was wrong again. Last time I bet on the Colts. Peyton Manning needs to get bashed here, right now.. There's no excuse why they had 3 points on the board for an eternity.

I think the championship games will be interesting. You know what's funny about football? They don't give a fuck if a team like the Giants are out because the playoff games will get the same high ass ratings regardless of who is playing.

Obviously there's no way to find out, but I'd bet a fortune that NFL officials are PISSED OFF that there's no Indy/NE rematch. Ratings for Pittsburgh/Denver will be good, but no where close to what that rematch would rake in.

Well, That rematch may have gotten a what.. 35 rating? I think the Steelers/Broncos will get at least a 28 or higher. Big difference? Maybe.. But when you are talking about ratings like those, can you ever really be PISSED OFF? lol..

I'm not totally disagreeing with you though, I see your point. An Indy/NE game could have been close to a Super Bowl type of rating.

Anyway, I'm really in the mood for some Colts bashing. Will they EVER win it all? No, let me change that.. Will they EVER get to a Super Bowl?

I mean, you can't get a better group of talent on offense than they have and the D is also much improved. They are chokers in the worst way and Peyton needs to start getting knocked hard. He ISN'T Tom Brady.

How bout the Bus coughing it up though? That would have been a play that would be shown over and over again if Big Ben didn't make the tackle.

And oh by the way.. Can we put to rest the Ben and Eli comparisions for now?
