LenDale White expected to declare for NFL draft

Just saw this on ESPN. No word yet on Reggie Bush but I'd be shocked if he didn't declare.

That's White, Bush, and Leinart all gone from that USC offense. Huge hit, but they still have the WRs I do believe. Not sure what the rest of their offense will look like but I'm sure they have talent.

The NY Post (THE ONLY SOURCE FOR SPORTS RUMOURS!) has reported that the Packers are enamoured with White, and that as of now, he is the pick at #5. Obviously no one has expected him to go THAT high, but if his combine numbers are good, and he can run like a 4.5, I think he'll definitely grade out to a top-10 pick.

The Packers are grading White higher than Williams? That's different. It's the firt I've heard of someone grading Williams below anyone besides Bush.

Personally, I'd love he Niners to take Williams.

Btw, I told you all the impact players in that Rose Bowl game would sky rocket up some draft boards. I bet that Texas TE goes real high now as well.

Yeah, I'd say David Thomas definitely a showed a lot to scouts. Good call.

Maybe with Williams, teams are concerned he's taken so much wear and tear already in college? I mean, he's been an absolute workhouse, and might not be able to withstand an NFL career for as long as some of these underclassmen... I don't know though, really. I've never seen him play.

As a Packers fan, White at #5 seems awfully high, especially since I'm wanting AJ Hawk, but White does seem like the perfect cold-weather back.

Definitely a good power/short yardage back. I think he'' be good, but I think Hawk will be GREAT.
