Yeah, 6'5, 233 I believe.

Texas does have an amazing track record of keeping their athletes for their senior years (ie. Roy Williams, Cedric Benson, Derrick Johnson), but Young's stock is just so high... he's told reporters he won't make a decision until he talks to his family, which to me indicates he'll come out. The way he plays, he'd be risking so much, staying another year, just for the chance to win a Heisman or ANOTHER championship.

Leinart set a pretty crazy example last year, but in the long run, it DID hurt his draft stock, and he could fall to #3 or #4 now.

If they declare, it's a race between Reggie and Vince, no doubt.

Well, I think Houston will take Bush if Bush comes out. I know they are probably down on Carr, and why wouldn't they be? but I take it they are still paying him a ton and they could use a big player at either position.

With Bush gone, who does New Orleans take? I don't see them taking a QB either, althougn I'm not big on Brooks, they aren't too down on him are they? I dunno.

So, maybe the Titans take Young and the Jets take Leinhart. We'll see.

Tonight made me sad that I haven't watched more of Vince Young throughout this season. He was incredibly fun to watch.

I can't help but be dissappointed with the way Pete Carrol prepared his defense. The Texas offense is a one man show, and the Trojans had a month the prepare to stop that one man, and they couldn't do it.

I still think USC is a better overall team talent wise, I just think Texas (Vince Young in particular) wanted it a little more tonight. I think if these teams played 10 times, USC would win 6-7 of the games, but props to Texas for being the better team tonight.

This is why college football is probably my favorite sport of them all. Somehow the pros are never this exciting and unpredictable.

Houston isn't ready to give up on Carr yet. I think Bush is pretty much a lock at that spot.

I've heard that New Orleans is almost certainly going to take a QB with their pick. My money is with them taking Leinart as I think he fits the NFL mold a little better right now, and would generally be considered a safer bet. I think Young will be a bigger star in the long run.

Here's my wild draft prediction: The Raiders trade up a couple spots and get Vince Young with the 2nd or 3rd pick. Kerry Collins will soon be collecting Social Security and Marcus Tuiasawhateverthefuckhisnameis has proven to be more or less a bust. It all depends on who their new head coach is however.

Wouldn't that be weird though? I mean, if my team (Niners) could get Young, I'd be all for it, but The Raiders? I dunno. They have Moss and I don't think Young's strength is in the downfield passing game. How's his arm and downfield accuracy? He can certainly play the short game.

The Raiders do need to get rid of Collins though. I thought it was a good try, but it didn't work out with him and I doubt it ever will.

I didn't know the Saints were so down on Brooks. I thought they still looked at him as being their QB of the future.

Blitz, dude, the Saints benched Brooks for the last three or four games of the season, and he was totally healthy. I would be shocked if they didn't end up with one of the top quarterbacks this year. Of the teams picking near the top, they're the most likely to pass on Bush, since they locked up Deuce over the summer with a big contract.

Those top three spots -- Bush, Young, Leinart -- are going to be so valuable come draft-day, it'll be murder for any team to try and trade up. My Packers are at #5 and I would DIE to see them draft one of the big three (Rodgers isn't gonna do anything), but I doubt it happens. I will still be ecstatic to see them land AJ Hawk, if he's still there at #5.

There's still a chance scouts will knock Young's mechanics and shaky passing history enough to send him down the board, but his performance tonight realistically should have won enough fans over for him to be a top pick.

I really do think it'll be between Bush and Young, if Houston keeps the pick... I mean, Bush did some amazing things this college season, and has been a lock for the #1 spot since November, but there will be Texans fans rioting in the streets if the Houston brass lets Vince Young, hometown hero, get away.

Another thing with Young, though maybe not a real selling point to some teams, is that even if he somehow doesn't pan out at QB, he could probably make a helluva wideout.

Shit, I didn't keep up with what the Saints were up to. Well, If they are down on Brooks, then yeah.. they'll definitely be in the mix for Leinhart or Young.

I think The Titans could also be looking for a QB. I mean, they could always trade Volek and get something and McNair is always beat up. However, they could go in a different direction, certainly.

If I was the Jets, I'd be looking for a QB also.

Who the hell is Jay Cutler from Vanderbilt? I see him rated in the top 15-20 prospects for the draft and he's a QB. I know nothing about him.

I've read that the Titans are really big on Vince Young actually, since McNair is the perfect quarterback to groom Young under (I believe they actually trained together this offseason, and McNair has been a big role model for him). That said, the Titans would probably also love to reuinte Matt Leinart (no H, Blitz!) with Norm Chow, former USC offensive coordinator.

The Titans are picking at #3 too, I think, which means it's a strong possibility they land one of the QBs.

Cutler is a guy who has flown up boards since a couple months ago. He's a big guy with a big arm, sort of your prototypical NFL body, and he played well at Vanderbilt this year. Before the season he was a late-2nd, early-3rd round prospect, which, to me, raises concerns about whether he's the real deal... but there aren't a whole lot of QBs after the big two this year, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Cutler go pretty early.

I feel like crap now. The Niners should have lost that game against the Texans. I don't want them to just blow a game, but what the hell? That win really screwed them. Now I'm stuck with Alex Smith, who I still like, kinda.. but I don't ever see him living up to a #1 pick. Seriously, he's got a ton of work to do.

The RB position is fairly deep in the first round though. I can't stand Barlow, Gore started to play well, but c'mon.. The guy was always injured in college.

The Niners could land DeAngelo Williams. I love what I've seen from that guy. He's a beast, but playing at Memphis, I'm not sure..

Then there's Maroney from Minnesota and White from USC. I like both of them but it'd be a little high to take either I think with their pick.

The Niners could really use a WR, but all the draft boards have Santonio Holmes rated as the top WR in the draft. I dunno. He's good, played well against Notre Dame, good speed.. but I never really loved the guy.
