Is this boxing?

I caught the last few rounds of the recent Jermain Taylor-Bernard Hopkins fight. It was pretty good.

Yeah but not as you'd know it D!!

Harrison was the Super Heavyweight Olympic Gold medalist at the 2000 games. He has quite a bit of technique but seemingly no heart or desire. He's in his mid 30's now and has spent the five years since Sydney moving very very slowly along the ranks. Basically he's had about 20 fights in five years and has not shown any real aptitude for the pro game. He does talk a good fight though and some believed he was learning the pro game slowly and would soon make his move. His fellow Brit is Danny Williams who was (I think) the 2nd to last guy to beat Tyson before he retired. Williams is just a limited bruiser, nothing special but quite durable.

They were not a match made in heaven and Harrison conspired to actually make Williams look like a convincing winner without Williams ever really looking good himself.

The first ten rounds were pretty much booed out of the building and Harrison's career (for what it was worth) looks pretty much over now given his age and seeming lack of desire for boxing.

Granted, you've got to applaud anyone brave enough to do what they do but.....well you'd have to have seen it really. I can't do it justice!!
