NFL Week 7 Discussion.

The Eagles San Diego game was the only broadcasted game at 1pm but we got to see Seattle/Dallas and Giants/Denver at 4pm.

The Philly game was pretty entertaining if you like to see massive turnovers and sloppy offense.

Poor Drew Bledsoe. Can't the guy just win baby?

LT has -5 yards at halftime. Yikes !! Also his 18 game TD streak ended today.

Besides that I didnt get to see anything.

You?

Dallas is 4-3. Not sure what your point is. I am gussing you are just taking jabs at Drew Bledsoe but that is ok. I just don't understand your comment asking if he can win.

Because I love Drew Bledsoe and I want to see him win as often as possible.

I hate Seattle and want them to lose every chance they get.

Drew Bledsoe was my boy for many many years. I was very disappointed when they let him go. Although we seemed to have done alright with Brady but Bledsoe and Clemens have always been my favorites.

I also am a big Bill Parcells guy.

I am sure you thought it was a dig, but it wasn't.

Well even if it was a dig I would understand it. The games have been low scoring allowing Drew to step up and take the game, but when it is 10-13, you would hope he would take advantage. I just hope they bounce back again and take the next couple of games. As a long time Dallas fan, the hope of them being the team of old had faded a long time ago, but this year gave me a little hope at least.

I am wierd with my alligences.

I tend to follow the players more so than the teams.

For example.

Also, keep in mind that my team is and will always be the Patriots, but I enjoy the NFL so much that I watch whatever is on and will be rooting for someone.

I loved John Elway as a kid, so I loved the Broncos. When he retired I didnt give a rats ass about the Broncos.

I was also a big Giants fan as a kid since they were the only team shown in New England. (Pats were blacked out all the time)

But there are some teams that I just can't freaking stand just because of their personel.

Like the Raiders with Al Davis and all those idiot fans.

Rams with Mike Martz

Minnesota stinks.

I could go on and on but I think/hope you get my point.

Like 10 years ago you would have seen me jump off the empire state building before rooting for the Cowboys, but now with Bledsoe Parcells and Keyshawn I just want them to win baby !!

It's hard for me to get into football when my team is as bad as they are... this loss to Minnesota just screams "fire Sherman!" 1-5, I now get to be on the fence for the rest of the year, half-cheering for them, half-cheering for Reggie Bush in the green and gold.

In the morning we got SD/PHI (two teams who I don't mind watching), and in the afternoon DAL/SEA (two teams who I can't fucking stand to watch, Seattle especially). The second game was just brutal.

Eli...wow...

That was a BIG win for the G-Men yesterday. The defense was still shoddy, but Eli led them to two 4th quarter TDs to win by one point. Plaxico Burress also had a great game. His numbers weren't THAT impressive (6 catches, 84 yeards, 1 TD) but his catches came at big times, and he also drew several pass interference penalties on Champ Bailey

The announcers also made a big deal about how the last time the Broncos played in Giants Stadium, it was when Denver was 13-0 in 1998, and Amani Toomer caught the game-winning TD late in the 4th Quarter. And who was it that caught the TD yesterday? Amani Toomer.

I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl

I'm still trying to figure out who is going to the playoffs out of the East. The Skins look decent, the Boys look decent, the Giants look pretty good, and the Eagles are still the best team in the conference.

Could this division get both wild cards? That'd be something.

The Niners.. well, what can I say? They got absolutely destroyed by a team (Skins) that doesn't even score many points most weeks. I'm ready to say that the Niners won't win a game the rest of the year with Smith at QB. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the 1st pick this year. Maybe trade down? That could get them a great deal if teams are really high on Leinhart.

One more thing I'll say.. Who made the Chargers schedule? I've never seen a schedule this tough in my life, they are lucky to be 3-4. They are a damn good team too, just overcome by this rediculous mess of a schedule they are playing.

Well, the NFC Wild Card teams will definitely not come from the North or the West...

The way I see it, Philly and Atlanta will win their divisions, leaving the Giants, Redskins, Cowboys, Bucs, and Panthers to fight for the last two spots

I think eventually the Redskins will drop out of it, and I'm not sold on the Cowboys either. If I was forced to pick right now, I would say the Giants and Panthers get in

So you aren't sold on the Bucs then? Me neither.. Well, I am but to a point. It doesn't help that Grisese is out for the year though. He was decent with that team.

Colts might finally get homefield in the playoffs.. You gotta love their chances this year.
