| I'm not really sure how I feel about it. I guess if they have one overtime then it's not so tragic for them to do a shootout afterwards. However, it does seem kind of cheap. | ||||||||||||||

| Continuous OT in the regular season would never fly; there's no coach in the NHL who would exhaust his guys like that just for a point in the standings. So far, the shootout has been a huge success, but I have a feeling it's gonna get old before too long. I hadn't thought about whether they were bringing it over into the playoffs, but hearing that they're not, I'm very relieved. Playoff OT is the shit. | |||||||||||||||
