More bad, God awful, news for the Saints

It's just been reported on ESPN that RB Deuce McCallister is done for the season after suffering an ACL tear on a screen pass in yesterday's game. The Saints already got killed 52-3 by the Packers, they don't have a real home field, and now this shit.

Can you say 3-13?

With the 1st overall pick in the 2006 draft, the New Orleans Saints select Matt Leinart, quarterback, USC.

How dare you say the Saints will be worse than the Niners? Alex Smith won't win a game the rest of this season. You can bank on it.. lol

Haha okay maybe not, but they won't be taking a quarterback. So far I think the Jets and Saints will be dogging it out for Leinart, but can you think of any other teams that have a shot at him/need him?

edit: The Cardinals are another team that could be looking, yeah, even though Green has said he's happy sticking with McCown. Arizona will probably take another WR.

I assume you mean teams who need Leinhart. Well, How about the Bears? Grossman has been hurt two years now, and I'm not too sure about Orton.

And yes.. The Cards could use him, Warner isn't the long-term answer and McCown is questionable.

I also think the Dolphins could use him but they won't be that bad this year, they'd have to move up. If the Niners land the first pick they'll get a package and move down.
